It is a tragedy to lose someone who dedicated her life to our republic. No matter your political affiliation, few can deny that RBG left a permanent mark on the judicial branch, the law, women’s rights, and America.

In a Marie Antoinette moment now coined “Salongate”, Pelosi strutted through the hair salon without a face covering, contradicting her many reprimands to Americans to “listen to the science” and comply with COVID-19 restrictions.

Socialism is a pathway to communism— an oppressive vacuum in which the purity of democracy cannot exist. It is not only extremely upsetting but scary to see so many people actively supporting a destructive ideology that has forced my family, along with many others, to emigrate twice.

Despite its reputation and what the media peddles, the Republican party is increasingly diverse. Nowhere can we see this better than in the slate of rising stars running for Congress.

The limitation of free speech is a slippery and very steep slope to the revocation of additional rights and freedoms. Speech limitations in college settings are detrimental to a productive learning environment, hinder our abilities to engage and disagree, and foster sentiments of hostility towards conservatives.

Socialism has been tried before. It did not bring compassion or equality, but violence, religious persecution, and mass poverty. I know many people mean well and have compassion for those who are less fortunate. But socialism is not the answer, especially for Christians.

While Hollywood has always had a penchant for politics, the recent evolution goes too far. America needs its politicians to govern and its actors to act, not the other way around. 

With essentially no room for error, one misstep, and you’re sent to the online gulag. Being “canceled” isn't a reformatory stint in prison, it’s a life sentence with no chance of parole.

The proud American flag has not only been disrespected but systematically co-opted as a symbol for hate by the Left. When did the flag become so political? When did patriotism become a partisan value and not an American value?

Obviously, BLM supporters can “talk the talk,” but I have yet to see many of them “walk the walk.” Posting a black box and going on with your day does not create meaningful social change for the black community.
