A Year of Restoration: What President Trump Has Delivered for American Women
By Stacey Schieffelin & Trish Duggan
When President Donald J. Trump took the oath of office again in 2025, a renewed sense of hope swept across America, and confidence in America’s potential was reborn. For years, American women felt the weight of chaos: open borders, rising crime, crippling grocery and gas bills, cultural confusion that shamed our daughters for embracing biological reality, and bureaucrats overriding parents’ rights.
We longed for leaders who led with truth and love for our Republic. And after a long battle, the America First agenda finally won the hearts and minds of our Nation.
Since President Trump returned to Washington, he has worked to restore order, defend truth, and protect American families. Women have felt the difference across the board—in safer communities, deported criminals, increased options for medical care, and expanded education opportunities for their children.
Many mothers pray daily for the safety of their families, and in crime-ridden cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., women had reason to question this safety. The national murder rate has recently dropped to its lowest level since 1900—down 21% in most major American cities and 62% in our nation’s capital. In D.C. alone, nearly 900 weapons were taken off the street, and over 8,000 offenders have been arrested for crimes ranging from gang activity to weapons possession to murder. This newfound security is a promise kept—American women will be safer in their homes and communities.
The economy is on the mend thanks to America First policies, and as a result, mothers can breathe more easily when balancing the family budget, swiping their card at the grocery store checkout line, and gassing up the family vehicle. Inflation has cooled significantly, gas prices have dropped below $3 in most states, energy prices are lower, grocery costs are stabilizing, private investment is pouring back into America, and wages are climbing.
Confidence in our healthcare system is also being renewed. From applying band-aids to scraped knees to making life-changing medical decisions for their children, women make most healthcare decisions for their families. Efforts to bring fairness to prescription drug pricing, improve price transparency, and prioritize evidence-based care are just a few facets of the improvements being made.
This administration has committed to our children’s well-being—taking on chronic disease, pushing companies to eliminate harmful food dyes, securing a reliable infant formula supply, boosting pediatric research, and modernizing foster care for our most vulnerable. Strengthened accountability in federal programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), ensure families who truly need support can receive it and prevent others from abusing the system. American women can now receive honest, accountable healthcare centered on their needs and the needs of their families.
Women’s private spaces and sports are finally safeguarded. In a culture that previously tried to erase biological reality, common sense is slowly returning. Title IX protections that were enacted in the 1980s, and that many have tried to destroy in recent years, were upheld by President Trump when he signed an executive order to “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.”
Once again, we, and our daughters, can compete on a level playing field. This leadership sends a powerful message to young women—you matter and are worth defending.
As women of faith, we believe leadership is chosen. Scripture reminds us that “to whom much is given, much will be required.” President Trump carries that responsibility with resilience and conviction. He doesn’t bend to cultural pressure. He doesn’t apologize for protecting families. He doesn’t retreat from defending the truth.
We are grateful for a president who understands that the strength of a nation begins in the home. And we pray that God continues to give him wisdom, protection, and courage as he leads our country forward.
On behalf of women who have more money in their pockets, less fear in their communities, and a restored trust in their Nation’s goodness, thank you.
